The Producer

Čačík Winery is a small family business run by Zdena Čačíková in Kobylí, Moravia. Working 4 hectares of organically certified vineyards spread across five parcels with diverse soils (loess, sandy, and heavy chernozems), Zdena's viticultural philosophy centers on respect for nature and biodiversity protection. Cover crops and the absence of herbicides create refuge for insects, birds, and lizards.

Winemaking Philosophy

Zdena respects traditional winemaking practices while limiting interference to a minimum. Wines are spontaneously fermented with natural yeasts and remain unfiltered before bottling. This approach highlights each wine's personality, creating wines that are full of life and unrepeatable.
