Agricola VINB 'TVB!' Rosè 2023

TVB! is Agricola VINB's expression of 100% Nero d'Avola rosé from Chiaramonte, Sicily. TVB is short for Te Voglio Bere meaning 'I want to drink you!' – a play on words from Te Voglio Bene which means 'I love you' in Italian. Made by our friends Biagio and Vittorio in Chiaramonte/Vittoria, this is energetic, characterful, and pure joy!

Emily says... 'I adore this Rose, its energetic, characterful and pure joy! This wine is made without any so2 in the process and its super clean, there is no funk or dirty notes; the boys have worked hard to make a clean, delicate and focused wine. The wine has beautiful citrus notes, vibrant fruit alongside a touch of herbaceous earthiness.'

Agricola VINB was founded in 2021 by two friends Vittorio and Biagio in southern Sicily with their vines between Vittoria and Chiaramonte. The vines here are planted on Terra Rossa – red earth over limestone – which gives the wines their distinctive minerality and energy. The farming is biodynamic and winemaking fully natural without any SO2 use. The wines are striking: extremely pure and delicate, energetic and complex.

The boys work around 4 hectares of vines so production is small and the wines are limited. This is a producer to watch! Their approach is uncompromising – biodynamic farming on the unique Terra Rossa soils, spontaneous fermentation, and absolutely no additions in the cellar, not even sulphur. The result is wines that are genuinely alive, expressing the purity of the fruit and the energy of the terroir.

What you get is clean, delicate, and focused rosé with beautiful citrus notes, vibrant fruit, and a touch of herbaceous earthiness. Made without any SO2, this wine is super clean with no funk or dirty notes – just pure expression of Nero d'Avola as rosé. This is natural winemaking at its most precise and joyful.
