Aromatic and very expressiive on the nose with notes of rosemary, thyme and spice. The palate is full bodied but fresh with notes of smoke, graphote and fig. We also have the 2012 of this same wine on our shop!
Salvo Foti is really the reference producer for Etna, he is very much a man of the mountain…or volcano. He grew up learning about viticulture from his relatives and studied winemaking in Catania. He has advised a number of producers on their viticultural practices, including Vino di Anna. His wines are both traditional and innovative - true terroir wines.
