Vermouth like you have never had before!
An Americano is a traditional apéritif from Piemonte. Mauro Vergano’s is based on Grignolino from Cascina Tavijn. The natural red wine is then blended with raw alcohol steeped in sugar, wormwood, savoury, orange skin, gentian root and a host of dry Italian pantry herbs.
This is best served on the rocks, with and slice of orange and optionally added soda. The ultimate way to kick of lunch or dinner. It also makes a pretty awesome Negroni.
