7 Fuentes is Suertes del Marqués' entry-level expression of Listán Negro (95%) and Castellana Negra (5%) from the volcanic slopes of the Orotava Valley in Tenerife, Canary Islands. This is one of the most distinctive and approachable red wines you'll find anywhere – bright, spicy, herbaceous, and refreshing with low alcohol.

Suertes del Marqués is a family winery that has been producing wines since 2006, though their tradition as winegrowers dates back twenty years before that. Geographically they are in the north of the island of Tenerife, in Valle de La Orotava, a valley within the town of the same name.

7 Fuentes is composed of 35 plots from area winegrowers and from their property with vines ranging from 10 to approximately 180 years old. The heights of the different vineyards range from 250 to 800 meters above sea level. Listán Negro is cultivated mainly in cordón trenzado (braided cordon), while Tintilla comes from the Bocanegra plot in telegraph system. Each plot is vinified separately and assembled just before bottling.

Without losing sight of respect for tradition, Suertes del Marqués artificially interferes as little as possible in the production of their wines. They work with indigenous yeasts, avoid racking, and use only minimal amounts of sulphur. All processes in the cellar are carried out by hand, from works in the vineyard to harvest. They avoid any systemic treatments in the vineyard, using only natural products when vine diseases eventually arise.

Serve it at room temperature or slightly chilled with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, charcuterie, or lighter dishes. This is honest, vibrant red wine from one of Europe's most unique wine regions, perfect for everyday drinking.
