Classy, sensual and impeccable quality. Crystalum is a small winery that was started in 2007 by two brothers: Peter-Allan and Andrew Finlayson in the region of Hemel-En-Aarde. The wines go from strength to strength in each new vintage, all their wiens are vinified using wild yeasts now and the use of new oak has decreased too. Crystallum is one of favourite South African Producers. "Peter and Max are the first names of the growers who supplied the fruit for the first vintage of this wine. The fruit sources have since changed but the name remains to honor the beginnings of our multi-vineyard Pinot Noir blend. The philosophy here is to use the different batches to form a blend that is more than the sum of its parts."
