Blend: Syrah and Bobal
Made from the best parcels of Syrah and Bobal from the ‘Casa Blanca’ vineyards on the Sandoval estate in Ledaña. The result is a beautiful expression of these two varieties that fuses typicity with a defined sense of place.
The two grapes are fermented separately in open top fermenters before aging for 15 months in French oak barres. Then the wines are blended together before bottling.
This wine smells Mediterranean: smokey and full of dried herbs and olive. The palate is balanced and fresh, with wild-strawberry, red cherry and blackcurrant notes with notes of pepper, sage and thyme.
