Somewhere between a white and an orange as the juice was kept on the skins for several days. Cloudy and textural as it is unfiltered. This wine is a great introduction to those who wish to try a 'natural' or 'unfiltered' orange or white wine as it has just a touch of tannin and it is super clean and very drinkable.
Emily says: "This is a wine for many moments, due to the low alcohol and fresh acidity and clean flavours, it works great for brunch, dinner or late night drinks"
Domaine Ligas is a small family winery working with biodynamic and permaculture in the vineyards. They are located in the historic region of Pella, which is close to the city of Thessaloniki. The winery was established in 1985 but Thomas Ligas (the father), who is now assisted by his daughter Meli. The wines are made with low intervention, there is no filtration or fining, no use of sulphur in any part of the winemaking. They work with a number of grape varietals that are indigenous to the area.
