Valle de Uno, Argentina
100% Pinot Noir
This rose is quite singular. Impressive, deep copper pink in colour with an interesting nose and palate that combines savoury with fruit. Medium bodied with notes of cranberry, gun powder and delicate floral notes.
This wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes that were grown at 900 - 1000 metres on the poor limestone soils of the southern Valle de Uco. El Cepillo is the coolest corner of the entire valley and is only called La Heladera which translates to the freezer, by the old winegrowers. The cool climate and limestone, combined with the early harvest, make for an exciting, firm structure in this exciting wine!
