La Bacheta works with respect and care in both vineyard and cellar, increasingly focused on preserving the integrity of their land. They limit operations that cause soil compaction, preserve trees that help maintain the escarpments, cultivate vegetable gardens by reusing all organic waste materials (including from winemaking as mulch), and maintain fruit and olive trees alongside mixes of flowers and plants useful for pollinators.

Their vineyards range from 20 to 60 years old, from clay to steeper sandy escarpments. Each vintage requires interpretation, and they try to express the essence of what the land gives them. Along with 4 hectares of vineyard, they maintain a diverse ecosystem that supports the health of the vines and the surrounding environment.
