Carbonic Still Orange Wine Aged in Amphora

Jaffa Crush is a distinctive Carbonic Still Orange Wine that showcases the unique character of Merwah and Muscat grapes. Made with whole-berry Muscat fermented via carbonic maceration, it is blended over finished direct-press Merwah wine and aged in traditional Amphora. The result is a vibrant, textured wine with a complex interplay of floral aromas, ripe fruit, and subtle tannins, offering a smooth, earthy finish that reflects its ancient winemaking heritage. Perfect for those seeking a bold, natural expression of white wine with a Mediterranean twist.

 

Jaffa Crush comes as a stand-alone wine.

 

Eddie, the winemaker at Mersel Wine, was also one of the winemakers at Couvent Rouge. He holds a degree in Viticulture and Enology from UC Davis, California. For anyone that knows and speaks to Eddie, you will know that making wine is not a hobby or job, it is a deep-rooted passion. He is passionate about winemaking, as well as preserving and reviving the land of our ancestors and the winemaking techniques used many, many years ago.

Eddie wanted to make wine that is not mainstream in Lebanon. Being born and raised in Australia, he doesn't speak French and didn't want to associate Mersel with the French influence in winemaking. He just wanted to make some f*kn good wine. His passion is to develop wine using local Lebanese indigenous grape varieties but something not common locally. Mersel Wine is the first to develop a Piquette and Pet Nat and he has been dabbling with skin-contact wines since 2016.

En raison de notre protocole strict de provenance, nous ne pouvons pas accepter les retours ni offrir de remboursement pour les commandes basées sur un changement d'avis. Notre jour d'expédition est le jeudi et vous pouvez vous attendre à une livraison sous 2 à 5 jours ouvrables. Un numéro de suivi sera fourni avec chaque envoi et il est de la responsabilité du client de surveiller son colis.
