Moki is Masiero's sparkling rosé, made using the ancestral method – the oldest way of making sparkling wine, where the wine finishes fermenting in the bottle without any added sugar or yeast. It's a natural, unfiltered approach that results in a wine with real character and personality.

Masiero was established in 2000 on volcanic soils at around 400 metres altitude in the hills around Trissino in Veneto, where a natural amphitheatre facing southeast creates ideal conditions for growing grapes. They farm biodynamically, avoiding any chemical intervention that could alter the microclimate or destroy the vitality of the soil.

Moki is made from red grapes – likely a blend of the varieties they work with on the estate – giving it a beautiful pink colour and a lively, fruit-forward character. You get red berries, a touch of citrus, gentle bubbles, and that characteristic slight cloudiness from being unfiltered. There's a touch of sweetness balanced by fresh acidity, making it incredibly easy to drink.

The ancestral method means the wine is alive and unpredictable – each bottle can be slightly different, and that's part of the charm. It's the kind of sparkling wine that feels fun and approachable, perfect for celebrations or just because it's a nice day.

Masiero has been working to recover old vines in the Veneto countryside since 2014, proving their commitment to preserving the region's winemaking heritage. Moki is part of that story – honest, natural, and genuinely enjoyable.
