Camporeale is Lunarossavini's entry-level Aglianico from the hills outside Salerno in Campania, where the Mediterranean climate and volcanic soils create ideal conditions for this noble red grape. This is Aglianico at its most approachable – fresh, structured, and genuinely enjoyable.

Lunarossavini is a small producer located just outside of Salerno on the Amalfi Coast, working with traditional Campanian varieties and farming thoughtfully. Aglianico is one of southern Italy's most important red grapes, known for making powerful, age-worthy wines, but Camporeale shows a more accessible side of the variety.

What you get is pure Aglianico – dark fruit, herbs, a touch of spice, and those characteristic firm tannins and bright acidity that make it so food-friendly. There's structure and depth here, but nothing feels heavy or overdone. The volcanic soils give the wine its distinctive mineral edge, while the Mediterranean climate provides ripeness and warmth.

The winemaking is straightforward – letting the fruit express itself without interference. The result is a wine that's both approachable now and has enough structure to develop with a few years in the bottle if you want to cellar it.
