Tule Catarratto, Cantine Rallo

Tule is Cantine Rallo's pure Catarratto from Alcamo on the northwestern coast of Sicily, where the Mediterranean climate and limestone soils create ideal conditions for this classic white grape. This is Catarratto at its most honest and approachable, showing what Sicily's most important white variety can do when it's grown in the right place.

Cantine Rallo is a family-run winery in Alcamo that's been making wine for generations, focusing on quality and expressing the character of their terroir. Catarratto is Sicily's workhorse white grape, but when it's treated with respect, it makes wines with real character and freshness.

What you get is pure Catarratto – citrus, stone fruit, white flowers, a touch of Mediterranean herbs, and that characteristic saline quality from the proximity to the sea. There's bright acidity that keeps everything lifted and precise, making it incredibly food-friendly. The limestone soils give the wine its distinctive mineral edge.

The winemaking is straightforward – letting the fruit express itself without interference. The result is a wine that's fresh, clean, and genuinely enjoyable, perfect for everyday drinking or pairing with food. This wine can appear cloudy as it is unfiltered.

Serve it well-chilled with seafood, grilled fish, pasta with light sauces, or fresh cheeses. It's versatile, easy-drinking, and works across a wide range of dishes. This is pure, honest Sicilian white at a great price.
